SOUTH BEND - Jerry Cantrell, 58, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at his residence. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2017, with the service at 1:00 pm at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka.

I have so many wonderful memories of Jerry, over the 35 years I have known him, it will be easier to reveal the feeling Jerry left me with over the years. The strongest feelings Jerry always imparted on me was happy and being cared about. He was always laughing and making others laugh. He was fiercely protective of those he loved. These qualities are so impressive to me, I feel very lucky to have known this amazing man.

Although we can't be there in your time of sorrow and I didn't know Jerry very well he seemed to have a great spirit about him and I know he loved each and everyone of his kids and im sure his family to the moon and back...RIP Jerry
