Barbara and family: I was saddened to hear that Jerry had passed away. It was a pleasure to know him and work with him at the Postal Plant in San Antonio for many years. He was a good man and was always there for you when problems or concerns arose in the work place. It was a honor to have him as a fellow U.S.A.F. veteran and friend. Our condolences and prayers to the Davis Family.

I was very sad to hear about Jerry passing. He has been a part of our family as long as I can remember and being in my 60s that is a long time. My parents introduced Jerry and Barbara and I was able to work with him at Mercedes Benz of San Antonio - Jerry was a very good man I wish I knew even better and he will be missed. I also know Jerry was a man of faith so I am happy to know I WILL see him again - until then prayer for the family and friends that miss him and may your memories comfort you and the promised future bring you peace and assurance - God Bless!!

Thank you, Jerry, for every kindness, laugh, helping hand, and pot of soup you shared with us. You will be missed, dearly. Great neighbor, great friend, and great spirit of a man. Your spirit will linger in every spring flower you so generously shared. Prayers for love and comfort to the family and friends who so deeply feel this loss.

Thank you for being a great friend and neighbor. I felt like we had known each other for a lot longer than we did and yet it also seems like such a short time... I still see you tinkering in the garage and ready to offer me badly needed gardening tips. I will definitely miss your smiling face ... as you deliver your delicious sausage soup (mit brotchen) or some other thoughtful gesture. Rest my friend and I pray the Lord will continue to watch over the rest of the family. Big hug, Joanne (and Linda)

I had the pleasure of knowing Jerry well over forty seven years, and even though there was a very long time when the family was stationed far away in Germany, we were always in touch. What I will miss most of my tremendous friendship with Jerry is his constant tutelage and infectious smile. We had the pleasure of working together at Benson Mercedes-Benz for ten years or so, and I will never forget the Saturdays that he spent working with his son in their own cars - he was the consummate friend, mentor, tutor, and example of a true American hero - I cannot attest to how many time he was in places unknown to most of us, but to be a congressional appointee to his rank and position is just further testament to how dedicated he was - not just to our country and his oath to protect and defend, but his dedication to his lovely wife, Barbara and the kids - a true family man who I shall dearly miss - rest in peace my friend, until we meet again! To Barbara and the kids; whatever help I can be at any time, please do not hesitate to contact me - May God aid you and comfort you in you time of need!

Rosalie and I are saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Jerry Davis. Truly an outstanding member of the US Air Force extended Family... Superior Wingman, Senior NCO, and most of all, friend over the years. They simply don't make them like Jerry Roscoe Davis any more....truly an outstanding Chief Master Sgt. who went on to contribute much more after he retired from active duty. He will be missed my many. Our deepest sympathy to Barb, Jodi, Jamie and the rest of the family.
