I met Jerry in a singles Bible study and we quickly became friends with one common interest, cars. He came to my wedding with “Wildfire” his hot rod with flames. Jerry gave me my first Limo ride and helped with a family surprise birthday. Jerry was the one who taught me how to cut a good light drag racing. He was also the one that gave me a tow home after not cutting a good light and breaking down…. yes unfortunately my car is not a Chrysler product.
We talked many times and I got good godly advice from him in some of the rough times in my life. Always full of good cheer and excitement even with the cancer he was always positive. I still have much to learn from him. He told me many times that you have to be true to yourself and God watching above. That perhaps is one of the greatest gifts he has given me. I will miss Jerry.

Tami, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Jerry was my neighbor and I loved going out to talk with him in the "back yard" as he always had a smile and a story. He will be missed.

Jerry's daughter, Shaun, was my best friend way back when. I have many fond memories discussing cars with Jerry (Shaun and I were the "car girls"). I cannot recall a time Jerry didn't have a smile on his face...happiest guy around! He was at the Beaches car show every Wednesday night arriving early to claim his spot for the front row viewing of all cars arriving (always on the look-out for mopars). He will be missed by many....thanks for the memories Jerry. Thoughts and prayers to his family...especially my blood bud Shaun. Love Yvette LaRose

Hey, Jer, I miss you! You were an amazing dance partner, treasured friend, prayer buddy, and confidante. But above all, a godly man committed to Our Lord and filled with love for family and friends. I miss your late night calls sharing exciting insights into Scripture, amusing family anecdotes, and critiques of Dancing With The Stars when they stole our moves! Thanks for saving your last dance for me before you went Home with The Lord. Piper sends her best wag and her loudest shrill bark of affection so you can hear her even in heaven. We love you, Jer.

Jerry was a valued member of our community and I will miss his kind spirit and great attitude. I always looked forward to seeing him at our clinic. If I was feeling grumpy, it was pretty much impossible to stay that way after a couple of minutes chatting with Jerry! I'm sending lots of love to his family and friends. I am very sad to hear of his passing but grateful for everyone who had the chance to know him.

We played together and communicated with each other for 71 years. Our families got together for dinners and visitation both in North Dakota and Washington. You really enjoyed the Dodge cars. I will miss you as I have missed Dale and your folks. I will continue pray with Ken and Delphine.
