Jerry HERT Obituary
Jerry Allen Hert, 81, of Austin, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Dear JO and family, my deepest condolences to all of you. I had the joy of swimming with Jerry at the Southwest Y for the past 9 yrs. It was always good to hear his voice in the morning, it made the laps easier to do knowing he was around. He often spoke of you and his sons. He cared for you so much. Jo I'm thinking of you & Jerry. You 2 have been a part of my life for years. Jerry sold us our house in 1968. He was a sort of second dad to Bobby. He would take Bobby & Bryan to the ranch on week end's, when one got in trouble, they were both in trouble. You 2 were there for me when Bill passed 9 years ago next month. You are a strong woman, & I know you will be fine. But I still Pray for God to fill you with his Peace & Love, & to fill you with his Strength.
