So sad to learn of Jerry's all too early passing. I knew him in H.S. and in our early twenties. He was as fine a person as ever there was. So sorry for your all to soon loss.

I was a patient of Jerrys for many years off and on and most recently via Skype, until he could not continue. We had many things in common, including our age, or divorces, our second families, prostate cancer, and the importance of Judaism in our lives. I think about him every day and will miss our conversations. My condolences to his family in this difficult time. Jim- New York

I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort hear your heart-broken prayers and provide you with much needed comfort during the difficult days and weeks ahead (Isaiah 42:10).

I was lucky to be a client of Jerry's for several years. He was a man of quiet warmth and compassion. He was a good listener and directed conversation in a thoughtful, productive manner. I learned a lot about myself from Jerry and will remember him fondly for many years to come.
Not surprisingly, his family was anonymous to me until I read this obituary. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My deepest condolences to your family during this most difficult time. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that your loved one is in God's memory, because those who pass on are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15.

My condolences go to the family during this difficult time. In a time like this, our hearts ache from losing those who are close to us. It is also during this time that God has proven his presence in our distress when we reach out in prayer to Him and have faith in Him. I pray in your behalf that He will heal your broken hearts and bring peace and comfort to your lives.

Jerry and I were colleagues in Helen Singer Kaplan's Human Sexuality Program at Cornell University Medical College-New York Hospital in the late 1970s and early 1980s.He was a wonderful person to work with and a good friend. Even as we tried to figure out categories for a rather dull research project we were engaged in, he was always fun to be with. I am sure his patients and colleagues as well as his friends and family will deeply feel this loss.
