In Loving Memory of Jerry Lefevers

March 9, 1958 - April 1, 2025

With deep sorrow and abiding love, we announce the passing of Jerry Lefevers, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished Pop-Pop, and proud veteran, who went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2025, at the age of sixty-eight.

Born on March 9, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio Jerry lived a life marked by unwavering faith, selfless service, and profound love for his family and country. A man of quiet strength and deep conviction, he served honorably in the Navy with courage and dignity, carrying the values of loyalty, discipline, and sacrifice into every aspect of his life.

He was married to the love of his life, Crystal, for forty-three years-a union built on faith, laughter, and unconditional love. Together they raised four children, and he poured his heart into being a steady role model and provider. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren, whom he adored and who knew him as a gentle giant who greeted them with a warm hug and an endless supply of sweet treats.

Jerry's faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of his life. He served faithfully in his church community, lived out the Gospel, and inspired others. He reflected God's love in all he did.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Crystal Lefevers; his children, Paul, Jason, Stephanie, and Stephen; their spouses, Sarah, Sara, Andrew and Linda; his grandchildren, Amelia, Becca, Jack, Julia, Crystal, MacKenzie, Hannah, Nicole, Chase, Arianna, Oliver J and three beloved unborn grandchildren; in addition to a host of family and friends who were blessed to know and love him. He leaves his sisters, Irene Napier and Donna Noel and is preceded in death by his mother and father Doyle and Willa Lefevers and his sister, Glenda Parrot.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 12pm, at Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. Visitation will be from 11am to the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Smyrna Baptist Church's Parsonage Fund, in honor of Jerry's life of faith and service.

Though we grieve, we do so with hope, knowing that Jerry Lefevers is now in the presence of the Savior he loved so deeply. "Well done thou good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:23)

Jerry and I went to Lincoln elementary and Dayton Jr. HS together. He was a good person and good friend. Until we meet again, RIP!

Where do I start? I was truly blessed knowing Jerry for many years. We played ball together, fished together and just had fun together.

The best thing we did together was serving with the youth and teens of the church. I am eternally grateful for Jerry getting me started in serving the Lord.

I remember the day he came in just before church started and dragged me out to help in Jr church. I thought it was going to be a one time thing. Instead it´s been around 30 years of blessings!

I will see him again in heaven, AMEN!

My Condolences to all of the Families. This announcement hit me hard.
Jerry and I worked together as Supervisors at Thoro Sytems, were brothers in Christ, served at Faith Baptist together, and friends.

We never know when our time will come, but one thing we do know is we will be with Jesus in Eternity. I believe Jerry was greeted with " Well done, my faithful servant" as he entered eternity. Goodbye for now my Brother in Christ, we will meet together again in Glory.

Give my regards to all and also your Grandfather Paster Fedena. He to this day, held dear to my heart as my Pastor, Friend, Mentor, who taught from the Lord´s word (KJV) and teaching nothing but truth.

I'm very sad to hear of Jerry's passing. I'm praying for Crystal and the family. Remember he's not dead but alive with his Saviour. You'll be with them one day.

Will miss you very much Dad. Words can't explain what I am feeling right now. I know you are in a better place now and there is no more pain or suffering. You will forever be in our hearts. I love you.
