Jerry Lynn Loudermilk

Funeral services for Jerry Lynn Loudermilk, 65, of Cornelia, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Whitfield Funeral Homes, North Chapel with Pastor Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens
Mr. Loudermilk passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, surrounded by his family and friends.
Born May 8, 1957, in Habersham County he was the son of the late Judge Lester Loudermilk and Elizabeth Loudermilk. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Johnny Briggs.
Jerry was a wonderful person who loved everyone. He always had a smile on his face and was a friend to all he met. He worked at Fieldale Corp. as a Mechanic for over 44 years. He enjoyed shooting, fishing and hiking in the woods. Jerry will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Loudermilk; children, Dana Roach, Joshua Loudermilk and Lisa Lillie; grandchildren, Jermaine, Nigel and Logan; and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Briggs, Barbara Dalton, Joy Wilbanks and her husband, Marshall and Gail Asato.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the funeral home prior to the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, North Chapel, Demorest.
