I didn't know Jerry well, but I definitely remember him and his entire family being one of my husband's favorite while teaching at Tahlequah. Justin told me this week what great parents Jerry had, and how much he enjoyed knowing the entire family. I know Sarah holds a special place in my heart...she is one of the sweetest of Justin's past students. I know you guys are hurting, but I know you will get through this. Justin and I both send you our best and are thinking of you all as you go through this difficult time.

Yo Jay, its pops!!!! I know you probably got a whole line of chli dogs spread out up there right quick, a gaming system on a big screen, and even tho you can fly, a new whip that can hold all your homies and your wings while listening to some new kind of music that makes your head bob. Save a seat for me on the right hand side of Jesus so we can dance in church. I'll be home soon enough. Watch over the fam, and send some love our way, I can't wait to hug your neck. I appreciate all of you so much! Polly, for always giving Hannah rides to church and everywhere else. Ralph, for being there for me at work, with your knowledge and humor. And Sarah, for being a great friend to Hannah and being such a delight! You all were there for us as I worked my way through nursing school and I couldn't have done it without you. Our children were baptized together and thank God you guys were there with us. I had no family there to share that with. I pray that God will give you peace and comfort. JJ, you were just an adorable, friendly boy when you and your family moved to Oklahoma. You used to play with my son Steven when you lived here in Queens. You and your lovely family left a lasting impression on us. We will never forget you and will keep your Mom, Dad and sister Sarah in our hearts and prayers.

Ralph, Polly, and Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart hurts for you. Jerry loved you guys and he was happy.. you guys were always there for him and you loved him. He knew that. I didn't know Jerry as anything more than a classmate; however, I always seemed to be in at least one class with him each semester in high school. To say the least Jerry was an amazing, uplifting, and inspirational guy. Thank you for always bringing a smile to my face! You will be missed so much.

I was extremely blessed to have met you, have you in my life and get the phone calls and letters. Words can't describe how much I will miss all of that and more. God welcomed an amazing young angel. I love you Jerry, you'll forever be missed!

Jerry was such a Sweet Young Man he showed Respect for others every where he went always Smiling, Laughing just being a Funny Guy at times.
