Jerry was my first cousin and our families lived close to each other in Morristown . He was a kind and wonderful person then as children and remained a great man through out his life. I know he is in heaven for being a good husband father and a great human being. He will always be thought of with love and happiness. God bless his wife of many years and all his family.

As a friend and student under Jerry's teaching at First Baptist Church, I remember his calm spirit and warm smile. Knowing the Worleys was a special privilege. I wonder if Jerry has put the final piece in the puzzle or started a much larger puzzle in Heaven.

As a Ruling Elder for many years at St. Andrews-Covenant Presbyterian Church, I had the honor of working with Jerry the entire time he was the Church Business Administrator. I met with him numerous times & always found him to be very compassionate, professional, a wonderful listener, easy to talk to, very approachable, efficient, and very easy going. His door was always open. He helped a lot of people in all church settings. I feel truly blessed to have known Jerry for so many years & will miss his smile. I will keep you all in my prayers.

I worked with Jerry for 13-years at St. Andrew's Covenant and I had the honor and blessing to call him my friend. Jerry was a man of integrity and a true man of God; and will be greatly missed.

I worked with Jerry as a volunteer at St. Andrews-Covenant for several years. Jerry was a man of both gentleness and wisdom, and I always looked forward to seeing him. He was such an encourager and kind to everyone. I have missed seeing him. Jerry was a true man of God and the light of Christ show through him. We were so blessed to have him at SACPC. His passing leaves a hole in the Wilmington community but fills a gap in heaven.

We are so sorry you have lost your husband & dad. Jerry was so thoughtful & caring. We have wonderful memories of you all and the times we spent together when you hosted the family reunions. We appreciated the visits when you stopped to see us on your way to and from TN, Hickory & the coast.
