JESSE E. ASHLEY

Jesse E. Ashley of Glen Ellyn for 50 years Jesse E. Ashley was born Jan. 4, 1929, in Post, Texas, and passed away Dec. 26, 2012, in hospice care in his home with his family by his side. He earned a degree in engineering/physics from University of Texas at El Paso and an MBA from University of Chicago, Ill. His interests included gardening, tennis, reading, and seeing the world. He is survived by his wife, Christa Ashley of Glen Ellyn; daughter, Christina Ashley-Riccelli (Joseph); and grandchildren, Maximilian, Chase, Cleo and Dexter, all of Wheaton. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 31, at 10 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 41 N. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn, IL. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn, Ill.
