Jesse Carter

Jesse Carter age 41 born in Gary, Indiana and a resident of McDonough Georgia passed away August 21, 2025. From a child Jesse love Georgia and always wanted to create a family there. He graduated from Griffith High School. He played football and was a huge football fan. He graduated from Ball State University in business. He was extremely business savvy. He loved to cook and watch cooking critics. He enjoyed flying and traveling especially to the Venetian in Las Vegas. Most of all he loved putting a smile on his loved one's faces! He was born to Jaqualyn and Jesse Carter III whom both proceeded him in death along with his great grandmother, Erma Lee Morrow; grandmother, Norma Jean Heizer and grandfather, Thomas Heizer.

He is survived by his wife, April Clark Carter; one son; daughters, Abria Roberson (Frank Lyons), Abre Kemp, Aaliyah Kemp and Peyton Smith; Grandkids, Ariel McNutt, Honor Lyons, Virgo twin Legacy Lyons (PaPa trouble) Frank Lyons and Abre Kemp Jr. All services will be held at McDuffie Funeral Home 1525 Broadway Gary, IN. Viewing will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 12:00PM to 8:00PM with family hours 5:00PM-7:00PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 2:00PM.
