Bridge & Vic,
Uncle Jesse will be missed.

We often recall our younger days, when we all got together. We did not have to have a reason, we just all seem to meet at Granddaddy's house-store, early for some, going fishing at Abercorn Creek, Uncle Jesse had the big boat. Also at Uncle Junior's or your house. Uncle Jesse's performing "It's In The Book" skit, (Vic also did this skit) and singing. Our Dads/Moms would get together seems like every week. They are all are so special.

We love you all!

In God we do Trust that we will all meet again in Heaven!

Love,
Ralph Jr.

Bridge... And family... I am so sorry for your loss. I remember him so very well.My mother, Stella Wainwright Sellers and he were always talking about growing up together in downtown Savannah. I remember he often came and visited with us in Fleming ... As well as he would come down to the car lot. He will be greatly missed. They all are together now....in peace listening to your dad play...!!! God Bless... Love, Jackie, Renee, and Emily

don't really know what to say This is certainly an extremely sad time for me, as I'm sure it is for the family and for all those who had the pleasure of knowing Big Jess. He's always been a very big part of my life. He and is brother-in-law, my dad, were right there the first time I ever picked up a guitar and the first time I ever set foot on a bandstandit all goes back, for me, to live music on Sunday afternoons over at 26 Delta Circle, listening to him and Jr. (my dad) I knew then that I wanted to do that, and I did. I spent many nights from age 15 until I joined the service with the two of 'em makin' music. When my enlistment was up and I came home, knowing I still wanted to make music but also knowing I needed a career, a real paying jobwho was there?Big Jess .he hired me on into the Life Ins. business, we worked side by side everyday for a number of yearseventually he retired and a number of years later I too retired. I could go on and on..he's just ALWAYS been thereMy uncle, my mentor, my boss, a best friend.and I'm gonna' miss him dearly RIP

We were neighbors of Jesse and family on Delta Circle back in the 60's-70's-80's. I grew up around Bridge and Vic, who were wonderful friends. We were a close neighborhood street where all the children knew each other, played ball and wandered into each others houses during those young days of the 60's of open windows, open doors, where parents looked out for the children. At times I remember and could hear Jesse playing Piano and sometimes band members would practice in their back yard. This is a wonderful family, we will celebrate his life and his music. Jesse will be well remembered and yet sadly missed :'(
