Jesse Wasson Obituary
LAURENS -- Mr. Wasson, 72, formerly of Laurens, died Thursday, December 16, 2004 in Charlotte, NC.
Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Joseph Luther Wasson and Louise Watts Wasson Dean, a graduate of Piedmont Technical College and received the highest achievement award. Mr. Wasson was a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer having served in Vietnam.
Surviving are one sister, Racheal Patterson of Asheville, NC; a nephew, Eric Wasson and wife, Joann, of Charlotte, NC; great niece and nephew, Kate and David Wasson.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Forest Lawn Cemetery conducted by Reverend George W. Scott with military honors.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:30 AM Tuesday at Kennedy Mortuary prior to the service.
Kennedy Mortuary of Laurens is assisting the family.
