Jessica Cecilia Cardenas-Navia

I did not know Cecilia, but I do know her wonderful sister Isabel and can imagine the grief that her family and friends feel at her loss. May Cecilia's remarkable life be a source of strength and inspiration going forward.

I am so sorry to hear of Cecilia's passing. I knew and worked with her while we were both graduate students at Yale. My deepest condolences to her family.

Cecilia was bright and vivacious, adding energy and inspiration wherever she went. She cared deeply about others and was working to create a better future for those who do not have full access to opportunities. We had many spirited debates about life and humanity and she became a fiend of our young children during her time in Frederick. It is unimaginable that she is no longer with us, our deepest condolences to her parents and brothers.

To my dearest friend. Will always remember the wonderful adventures, late night conversations, and the laughter we shared together in cities all around the world. Thank you for being a beacon of inspiration and the most loving friend. Celebrating your brilliant mind, heart and soul. So proud to have been your friend.
