Jessica Dones Obituary
WARFORDSBURG - Jessica Nicole Buterbaugh Dones, 27, of 216 Bradshaw Road, Warfordsburg, PA passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. Jessica was born in Pasquotank County and was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia "Jenny" Buterbaugh and her grandmother, Marvis Cartwright. She is survived by her partner, Brandon Wilt and his son Brady; her sister, Krystal (Francisco) Agosto of Hertford, NC; and her brothers, William Buterbaugh and Joseph Buterbaugh of Elizabeth City, NC. She was also the loving aunt to Anthony Agosto, Klaryssa Agosto and Logan Craig. Jessica was a strong, intelligent and remarkable young woman that enjoyed and lived life to the fullest. She will always be remembered for her beauty inside and out. Her smile was contagious and rarely did you see her without one.
Jessica was a veteran of the United States Army and was currently active in the National Guard. She was a correctional officer at Maryland Correctional Institution in Hagerstown, MD and had a huge impact on everyone's life that she touched.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 1:00 p. m. at Twiford Memorial. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and in the lobby following the service. Twiford Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC is serving the Dones family. You may express condolences to the family by visiting www.twifordfh.com.
