Dear Foshee Family: I was so sad to hear of Jessica's passing. I can only hold the memory of her sweet smile when she came to us at UCSF and again 2 years ago to say hi to Dr. Hanley.

On behalf of Dr. Hanley and his whole team, our condolences go out to your family for the loss of Jessica.

Mrs. Linda, Mr. Brian, and Jo,
Jessie was an amazing girl, she brought so much light and love into this world and we were so lucky to have her for as long as we did. God knew of her amazing life and needed her to be with him, she's still with us and I will never forget the impact that she made on my life. I will never forget Jessie or the memories I have with all of you. You all are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. She will never be forgotten. Love, Amanda

To family of Jessica, I don't know any of you or Jessica, I accidentally stumbled across this in my google search....just want to express my deepest sympathy to the family and all that knew her, I was very moved by her courageous story. I lost a cousin who was a great man a few years back, he finished school as an orthopedic surgeon, tops in his class, got married and was overcome with cancer out of nowhere, he passed while his wife was still pregnant with their first child. Jessica's spirit and courage reminded alot of him. She was one very beautiful girl and person from what I read. So deeply sorry for your loss. May her memory be eternal. Sincerely, Slobodan Bulj

Linda & Family,

I don't read the AJC very often so it was quite a shock to see Jessica's obituary. I have thought of all of you many times over the years and seeing her smile was exactly how I remember Linda 20 years ago. My heart breaks for all of you and I pray that the same strength and courage that Jessica had will also carry you through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I don't know Jessica or any of the Foshee family but stumbled across her obituary looking for a friend who is now in heaven with her. For some reason her picture compelled me to visit her obituary and I must say that she is an absolutely beautiful child. She was yours for only a little while but God was so pleased with her that He wanted her with Him. God bless you all for taking care of His precious gift.......Synthia Redding Mableton, GA

To The Family Of Jessica Foshee,
My prayers are with you and your family. No one can imagine how deep your sadness is, but, I do know that you have lost a wonderful daughter. She continued to be a true fighter, throughout her life, and she stayed positive. May the God of Comfort, continue to be with you and your family. May you continue to cherish the wonderful memories, and Jessica’s life, that you shared. The scripture at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4, has brought me comfort. I hope that it brings you comfort as well, it says: 3Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort 4Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
May this scripture, and the wonderful positive memories that you have, comfort your family, through these hard days, and those to come.
Sincerely,

Hope and Rebekah Phillip

Brian, Linda & JoAnn,
We were in total shock and dismay when we read Jessica's obituary in the paper. Unfortunately we didn't see it in time to come to her memorial. Jessi was a brave little trooper when she was little and going through such major surgeries. From what we have read, it seems she became an even more wonderful young woman. We're sorry we lost contact through the years. Please know our hearts and thoughts are with you as you go through this terrible time. May peace come to you quickly.

I am so saddened by Jessica's sudden passing away. It hurts all of us who have met her. Her life may have been brief and all too short but she made a big difference in the lives of all who knew her and loved her. And that is what really counts. How blessed you are to have had her for a daughter.
I am a good friend of her grandmother Joan Foshee and have said many prayers for the healing of Brian and other family members and for the safety and well being of Jessica.
My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Brian and Linda,
My heart is so heavy and full to hear this news. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Jessica was mine for a short time. This is Donna Blakenship, her kindergarten teacher at Findley Oaks. Another parent from the class that year contacted me with the news. I am thankful for that. I can't even imagine your pain. I do know that it is the fond memories that lighten our hearts so I wanted to share these two with you. I remember when Jessica returned from her heart surgery to class that she was nothing but smiles and so wanted to move on as if she was no different than any other beautiful child. She was so brave! Another memory from that same year was when she choked on a piece of hard candy from the "dip in" bucket. She was often rewarded! I remember after having to slap her on the back several times very hard, the candy was dislodged. She and I just held each other and then went to the office to call mom. There was a very special bond! After reading all these comments and viewing her photos,I have enjoyed such a wonderful testimony of her beautiful twenty years. I also loved finding that she went to Auburn. Both my sons graduated from there over the last two years. It is such a place of love and she will be missed. Please contact me through the county as I am still at Findley Oaks if there is anything I can do for all of you! May God bless and hold you in his hands!

This is a letter of farewell to my friend Jessica.
Dearest Jessica,
We met when we were 14. The world was a new place; high school was an unknown. I remember meeting you; you seemed like the most popular girl in the whole universe. You were confident and mature, as you introduced yourself to a crowd of socially awkward high school freshmen. As we went though high school together, we grew together. As the years past, we revealed to each other some of our secrets. As we left for college, we told each other we would stay in touch.Throughout college, I would look forward to hearing your stories of your wonderful life at Auburn. You were always there to encourage me in whatever I pursued--whether it be journalism, a romantic relationship or changing and impacting the world. Thank you, love, for your friendship. Like a bird, you must fly away. Like an angel, you must fly from Earth and go to the place you truly belong.
Farewell dear friend. Farewell sweet angel. I love you and will always miss and remember you.
Sincerely and forever your friend,
Cathryn MacArthur

I still don't feel like this is real.. I don't want to believe it's real.
You were my best friend for so long. We did everything together, we taught each other things, we went everywhere together. We have so many wonderful, fun memories together.
I went home today and I still have yet to drive by your old house, but I passed the lake and I remembered one of the times we went out in your boat and found that turtle head haha and then laid on the deck and talked about everything.. all of my best, most fun memories from when I moved to Roswell in the 3rd grade include you right by my side. Thank you for all those memories that I will never forget.
And while I was at home today, I was pulling out old pictures of us and I found so many! But in the very back of my "picture drawer" I found a hidden note you wrote me in high school and it was like a secret present that made me smile because it reminded me of how truly sweet and caring you are.
You are now a beautiful angel, and I can't wait until I come see you in your new home.
I love you Jessica Lynn Foshee.
