Port Huron - On Monday, December 10, 2018, Jessica Lynn Fye, 38, a woman who was and continues to be an inspiring blessing to all those who have crossed her path, joined her heavenly father after courageously battling through multiple health challenges over the past four and a half years.

Born Jessica Schock along with her twin sister, Andrea, on October 1, 1980, to Richard and Deborah Schock in Port Huron, MI, both girls were the crown jewels of their large, loving family. Jessica and Andrea have been inseparable from day one and treasured always having a mirrored counterpart with whom to experience all life had to offer. She graduated in 1999 from Port Huron High School and achieved her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan - Flint in 2005. Her life-long friendship with David Fye blossomed into a romance in high school and they married in May 2004. David and Jessica's love, determination and commitment to raising a family helped them persevere through multiple miscarriages and blessed them with two marvelous children, Brody Rico in 2009 and Khloe Dawn in 2012, both of whom became Jessica's driving force and purpose.

Jessica had numerous passions, her children, family and large circle of friend's chief among them. Her glowing smile and vivacious attitude energized anyone fortunate enough to make her acquaintance. She was 100% determined not to allow her personal infirmities to keep her from being ever-present for her kids and making an impact everywhere she went. Her hockey family held a special place in her heart and brought out her fiery side like nothing else! And no one enjoyed Christmas or Halloween quite like Jess! She taught us all how to live life to its fullest no matter what cards you are dealt.

Jessica is survived by her husband, David Fye; her two children, Brody Rico Fye and Khloe Dawn Fye; her mother, Deborah Schock of Port Huron; her twin sister, Andrea Emigh (Bobby May) of Clyde Township, her brother-in-law; Robert Emigh of Port Huron, and her daughter-in-love, Brooklynn Rishelle Emigh. She was preceded in death by her dear father, Richard Schock. Due to her young age, Jessica is also survived by an endless list of family members and friends, each of whom she treated like family and all of whom will miss her deeply.

The family honors the memory of Jessica and invite you to visit and share memories, on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home - North in Port Huron. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Smith Family Funeral Home - North, with Reverend Max Amstutz officiating, visiting beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the funeral home until time of service.
