My thoughts are with the always amazing McNamara family as they celebrate Jessica's life. Although it's been years since the childhood Jessica was my neighbor in Arlington Heights, I still remember all of her kindness and energy. And her fight against cancer has been an inspiring story of positivity and resilience. She will be missed, even from across the miles and the years.

I have been blessed by Jessica's positive spirit while she was a sister of mine in Phi Mu and by witnessing her courageous battle with cancer. It is obvious that she touched many lives in her time here. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I met Jessie through my sister, Genevieve, and think of her as such a wonderful friend. Every bit of time I got to spend with her was filled with fun and joy. I'm so glad that I got to know her, to share some time with her over the past 10 years, and to have her as a friend and peer teacher.
