I will always remember Jessica for the wonderful, true, one of a kind friend someone could ever be lucky enough to have. Friendships are easy when life is going great, you´re having a great time, and living your best life; a true friend is one who is there when the times aren´t good, the chips are down, and you´re not living your best life but actually living in the opposite. Jessica was the very definition of what it means to be a loyal, true friend, with an empathetic and kind heart, non-judgmental, positive attitude, she was a one of a kind friend that I loved and I will miss her greatly!

My prayers go out to her family and especially to Michael, Mary, Brian and to Sophie, Jessica was so proud of the strong, intelligent and beautiful young lady you have become!

Truly a kind, sweet soul has left us! Jessica had an eye for art - from skillful application of make up on a bride to decorating an amazing Christmas cookie - Jessica displayed such creativity! She always was up on the latest in fashion - could spot a designer bag across the room! Jessica: Daughter, Mother, Niece, Aunt, Cousin, Friend, you hold a place in all our hearts. God Bless you!

Jessica was the daughter of a wonderful, close friend! Whenever we met, she was so friendly and always smiling! I am so sad we have lost her.

Jess and I go back almost 21 years. We met at Home Depot. I worked in the garden dept and she was at the special services area and paint dept. When we met she always had this smile that was always so genuine and warm.

Jess, the last few years had a hand stacked against her at times but still through the power and love for her daughter she would call me and say Bill, I´m getting better, I feel better, and had always talked about her plans to one day go back to CA and visit every beach. Her love for the sand and sun on her face was something she talked about often.

Over the years we always stayed close and would talk about the woman Soph had become. She was so proud and bragged how smart she was at school. I spoke to her a few days before I got the news and once again she was talking about Sophie´s grades and some new plans she had after graduating. She was always telling me how responsible she has become and how she wishes for her to finish school and take life head on.

Jessica has had a place in my heart for 20 plus years, and I know she is on a beach somewhere, sand in her toes peaking over at all of us with the big smile I remember when we first met.

I wish her family peace, her daughter good fortune and anything the Mahoney family can do to help your through this tough time please reach out.

Be Well

My first memory of Jessica is playing with her at Grandma Earlene´s house. Jessica had a cabbage patch bra that I was so jealous of at age 8. We would laugh about that bra as teenagers when we talked about that early memory. As teens we would share each other´s secrets, practice putting on make up and try on clothes. We took trips to Kings Island together. She gave me a reason to look forward to the summer because she would come to visit Ohio. I went to visit her in AZ when I was 15 and we went to the mountains. She had this big plan to pee outside for the first time. I stood lookout while she set her plan into action. Jessica was shy, she was funny and she had big dreams. I miss you and I will see you again one day.
