Hi my name is Linda and I worked with Jess at Perkins for several years, when she started working at Perkins I knew I had found a friend for life!! We shared many laughs together over the years and when I found my little brother deceased in 2005 at the young age of 36 it was my Perkins crew who ran to my side and held me together...
One late night one of my kids were in a terrible accident and sustained a 11 inch cut on his outer thigh and it was deep.. I couldn´t take him to the ER for personal reason´s but I couldn´t stitch him up by myself either.. I needed someone I could trust to keep my secret and that had some medical knowledge like myself, YUP I CALLED JESS.. Told her the story and I told her it could possibly get us in trouble but she was still willing to help me.. 15 minutes later we´re at my mom´s house stitching a kids leg back together, and she come to check on him several times during that week .... That´s the kind of friend Jessica was, always there for her people..
I just ran into Jessica a couple weeks ago at Smith´s. She gave me a great big hug. She told me I love you girly and you keep fighting the fight. I will miss her positive words and her beautiful smile. This world definitely is a little dark from losing Jessica
