I lit a candle in Church but omitted to add one to message in this Book of Remembrance. Jessie - you will always be remembered, with affection.

Dear Robert,
I was so sorry to hear about your dear Aunt's passing. I want you to know that my thoughts are with you as I know how difficult it is to lose someone so close to you. It is hard when those we love leave us, especially when we are left alone. Know that your friends are here and that we want to support you in anyway we can each and every day. Take care and may your Jessie smile down upon you because you were always there for her when she needed you! Love Aniko

I, too, remember and knew Jessie through my late mother and grandmother, Winsome Leeper and Marie Steiner, respectively. While on visits to Canada, I remember going with Mom to visit her and having pleasant visits. Her friendship meant so much to Mom and Granny. She was also very kind to send baby gifts to my children as they were born, so she and I exchanged a few letters over the years, too. What a sweetheart. Please know she will be missed, and that you are in my heart and prayers at this difficult time. May she rest in peace.

Jessie was a loyal and treasured friend of my late mother Marie Steiner, my late sister Winsome Leeper and of myself. She is remembered as a warm, generous soul whose friendship we treasured.
