JESSIE 'POLE' JAMES WIGGINS
LUMBERTON — Jessie "Pole" James Wiggins, of Lumberton, was born on Tuesday, April 16, 1963, and departed this life on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, completing his journey of 54 years.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Eugene Kersey, and a maternal grandmother, Dolly Mae Williams.
Wiggins enjoyed working on vehicles as well as doing things around the house.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Morning Star Community Church with Pastor Roosevelt Scott, the Rev. Aaron Lowery and the Rev. Randy Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
Wiggins leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife, Helen Wiggins; three sons, David "Fat Daddy" Zurcher of the home, and Ben Zurcher Jr. and Jimbob Wiggins, both of Lumberton; 11 daughters, Aaliyah "Cookie" Hines, April Zurcher, Deanna Zurcher, Kayjiah Hines, Jamiah Cromartie, all of the home, Pam Overstreet and husband John, Tabatha McAllister, Helena Zurcher and husband Israel, Crystal Ivey, Arlette Wiggins and Camber Wiggins; his mother, Lillie Hickman; a brother, Calvin Wiggins, all of Lumberton; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Boles-Biggs Funeral Home in Lumberton.
