I remember Chuy and always will as a faithful loyal servant of God, family and friends. My wife and I are proud to have been among his countless friends . I still see his red adorned welding truck that stood out as a one of a kind. His expertise in stenciling his initial on all Tijerina plant welds never failed an xray and he never failed in his friendships more importantly..

We received a request on Chuy's first anniversary and I still remember him as a Gran Caballero que siempre fue fiel con sus Amistades.

Our condolences to the Navarro family.
Mr. Navarro will always be remembered in the Premont community in part because of his wife and children, his work ethics and through his music.
May he rest in peace.

I remember Mr. Chuy from the first time playing with El Mariachi Del Sol
Since that day of introduction he called me "mi gordini", the name stuck and all these years went by and still to this day mi gordini I will always be...

I am Arturo Hernandez and met Jesus at the Texaco Tijerina Gas Plant in the summer of 1972 where we worked together on so many welding projects..We had many memorable moments where he shared his love of singing and music..He sang La Malaqena my wedding in 1972..We moved back to Premont area in 1986 and renewed our life lasting friendship with his big smile and gleaming eyes..The past 25 years I would mostly see at St Theresa Catholic church. I SHOOK HIS HAND AND ADDRESSED HIM AS MAESTRO AT CHURCH WITH HIS SON ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO. AQUI ME DESPIDO CON TODO RESPESTO PARA EL Y SU FAMILIA..DIGO QUE JESUS SIGUE A EN NOS BUEN RECUERDOS QUE TUVIMOS. VALLA CON DIOS AMGO Y HASTA LUEGO. SU SERVIDOR ARTURO HERNANDEZ..

Condolences to the Navarro Family! I had the opportunity of meeting Chuy for several years while in a Mariachi group from Alice Texas. He was not only a kind, positive and outgoing person, but was also a talented mariachi singer. Our prayers go out to the Navarro family.

I met Jesus when I was a young musician playing mariachi in Kingsville, Texas. I truly enjoyed his authentic voice and passion for singing mariachi music. He and his wife became good friends with my parents. Sending prayers of comfort to the family. Jesus was a true blessing.

I first met Jesus at the Texaco Tijerina Plant. He was a great welder and a fine person who always had a smile on his face.
