I have fond memories of Jesus and his family growing up in Lyons. Rest in peace. Love always from Deanne Schaible (Altenburg).

Hey Suuuuus!
I would always greet Jessie this way and he would always greet me with a smile and laugh. Even in the dark on a cold winters day waiting for the Barking Dog to open up, we always greet each other in the dark. Jessie and me would work together in the rocks. We would load the truck by hand 200 pound stones and in the heat of the day we would sit down to have linch under the truck. Lunch would consist of a wonder bread bologna and cheese, Doritos and pace picante sandwich. It sounds like a mess but it was steak to us. We would talk about winning the lottery and Jessie said he would buy all of Lyons valley and put a fence around it. Where we could hunt elk, drive Mr D´s old chevy pickup, and let Mufasso run free.
Some of my best memories were in the quarries. When I went up the hill I would see Bob, Ray Ray and Jessie who are all gone now. All these great memories i have of Jessie, i´m lucky to have and i will play them back in my head like reruns of a favorite show to make me happy. Even death cannot rob me of these great memories. Alot of things have changed over the last 50 years - we always talked about life and death but we both understood that it´s the time between the two that makes us smile so much. Great times to look back at and laugh about with Jessie. I want to thank him for all this happiness. I hope he´s having fun now.

Im so very sorry for your loss! I got to know Jessie at the Barking Dog and he was always smiling and so friendly to me. He will be missed!

So very sad to hear of Jesus' passing. He was one of the good guys...a great friend always. Always had a smile, enjoyed times we chatted and just a great guy! Thanks for the friendship my friend. May you rest easy in God's hands and your family find peace. You will be missed!

My Dad was my hero and best friend. He instilled in me a love of God, family, music and cars. He loved everyone unconditionally and lived up to his name, Jesus. This world will never be the same without him but I know he is finally where he is meant to be. Love you forever Dad.

Jessie always had a smile on his face waving to his neighbors on his way out in the morning and back in the evening. I will remember Jessie's kind heart and gentle demeanor. Rest in peace dear Jessie.

So sorry for your loss. Your parents seemed like beautiful people and I'm so sorry you are going through this. I'm thinking of you during this difficult time my friend.

I´ve known Jésus for about 29 years. He´s the nicest man I have ever known, not just with me but with everyone. Whether family, sports, vintage cars, etc., I will miss "small talk" with my amigo till I see him again down the road.

I am so sorry to hear of Jesus's passing. He always seemed like a nice guy and a hard a hard worker. Our condolences go out to all of your family!

We were so sorry to hear of Jess's passing. He always seemed like a wonderful loving person. All our love and hugs go out to his wonderful family. We love you all! Praying for all!

I had the privilege to know and be around this wonderful person. Jesse not only had a loving heart but also cared about people especially those close to him. I'm so glad he and I always spoke about the things that matter in life. I will miss you....R.I.P. (Peace Keeper). Your Primo Pablio......

I'm really sorry for the loss of Jesus. He was a good man and I'll miss him. Glad I was able to meet him. Prayers and condolences to the family, especially Jessica, Audra and Christina.

My condolences goes out to the Vasquez family. My heart hurts for you all. I had the privileged of meeting Jesus and he was nice and amazing man. You will be missed.

Jess was always a good friend and I will miss him. Ramon and I would try real hard to ditch him up on the hill just because he was the younger brother but I always liked him.

He had the heart that cared completely, even when he could have chosen not to .
He had the smile that was genuine always warm and welcoming.
He loved his family and friends unconditionally.
He is forever a man of integrity, honor, appreciation, devotion, intelligence and principles....

You are terribly missed. Thank you for being the best dad ever and step in dad to Rutha. I know you are finally whole again with mom and dancing away. Rest easy now until we see you again.

Jesus is sorely missed my so many... including me. My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved him. My sincere sympathies to all his family, and especially his daughters and grandchildren, all of whom he loved & cherished with all his heart.
