Jesus Zamora Obituary
Jesus went into the loving arms of the Lord on July 8, 2017 at the blessed age of 79. He is survived by his beloved wife Teresa of 54 years; his four children: Jesus, Jr. (Karlen), Margaret (Sam Stevens), Gabriel, and Veronica (Gabriel Campos); his eight grandchildren: Katherine, Gabriella, Zachary, Mathias, Jacqueline, Annalisa, Rebecca and Victoria; and siblings, Joe Zamora and Mary Flores. He served four years honorably in the Navy and was a loyal employee of HEB Grocery for 37 years as a diesel/refrigeration mechanic. As a member of Christ the King Catholic Church for 54 years, he served in various church organizations (Holy Name, Altar Society, Festival Committees, Religious Education). He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and champion of education for his children. He was caring and always ready to help family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all. Visitation July 14 starts at 5pm at the funeral home, Rosary at 7pm. Mass July 15 at 9am at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by internment at San Fernando Cemetery II. In lieu of flowers donations to Christ the King Catholic Church.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Zamora's passing. I lost my father when I was 8 years old and Mr. Zamora was so kind and looked out for me as a child. He would take time out of his life to drive Jesse jrs. friends including myself to chess tournaments and always had great advice and much love for all of us. I'm sure there is a special place for him with the good Lord in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jesse and your family. Your father made a huge impact in my life, I only hope I can be half the man he was. Thank you Mr. Zamora, because of you my mom never had to worry about me when I was under your care.
May the lord bless you all and give you peace.

I worked with him during his time at HEB . I never called him by the first name, only his last name......that is what we did there. He was an outstanding worker. I know he will be missed by all who knew him
