JEWELL SUNDERLIN Obituary

JEWELL SUNDERLIN, 84, of Ceredo, W.Va., passed away November 14, 2017, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born September 8, 1933, to the late parents, Oscar Adkins and Vicie Ferguson Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eli Sunderlin. Jewell was a member of First Baptist Church, Ceredo, W.Va. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded by her infant child, Charles Roland Lyons II; her siblings, Ervin B. Adkins, June Napier, Oscar Adkins II, Shirley Adkins and Jettie L. Adkins. Jewell leaves behind to mourn her loss her children, Roger Lyons (Nancy), Debra Kinser (Johnathan), with whom she made her home, Randy Lyons (Debbie) and David Lyons; her siblings, Gene Adkins, Fred Adkins, Cleo Harger, Otis Adkins (Carol). Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jeffery White, Kimberly White (Jeremy Ferguson), Kaylee Crisp, Roger Lyons II, Amy Sharpe (Kevin), Konnor Lyons, Diego Clark, Erich Clark (Ansley Dees), Natausha Tibbs (Nick LaValla), Felicia Stewart (Adam); her great-grandchildren, Maisen Ferguson, Layla Stewart; a very special family friend, Vickie Carver; and a host of family and friends. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, at First Baptist Church, Ceredo. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at First Baptist Church, Ceredo, with Rodney Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Cemetery, Ceredo.
