Dr. Jiasan Fu

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr Fu while working at Forest Park Hospital. He was always so very kind and warm and when I myself was admitted in the hospital he was my dr and he was amazing to me. My condolences to his family.

It is so sad to hear that Jiashan, such a nice, generous and talented classmate, friend and physician passed away so early. We went medical college in Shanghai together. He was the youngest in the class, and was always so positive and nice to everyone. We kept friendship during his study in America and planned to visit each us again after our retirement. We will pray for him and may the lord give him and his family peace and comfort.

Dear Joshua, Victoria, Xiao Dong, Dadin, Yiguang, It is sad that such a wonderful family as yours must go through such a difficult time. Words could never fully express our sorrow at this moment. We just want all of you to know that the sorrow that you feel is a sorrow that we share. Jia San is such a nice and loving cousin and uncle who will be in our memory forever. Dr. FU was always so kind to my family and I as I worked at SJHW. My mother became ill with cancer and he fought to have her stay in the hospital until she had the right tube feeding. She didn't have insurance we were in there a little over 2 weeks at this time. He said don't worry I will take care of your mom. Incredible man compassionate, kind , attentive and wonderful at his job. He will be missed. But his memories will stay with my family forever. Prayers to his family.

Jiansan and I were medical residents together at Jewish Hospital in the mid '90s. At that time, few Chinese physicians were in clinical training in the US, particularly at competitive institutions like Washington University Medical Center. His dad was a medical doctor at Huaxi Medical School in Chengdu, China. I am a graduate from the same Chinese medical school. As a result we were very close. He was kind, honest, and always helpful. During his recent illness, we talked in the phone. He was strong and optimistic. He was a professional peer and personal friend that anyone would dreamed to have. Jiansan, I will miss you dearly.
