We just found Jill's last Christmas card while going through our collection. and we called her number, the found out that she had passed. Jill never missed a month sending us the Rec. Inc. calendar for years, even after we moved to Sonoma County. We always camped next to her on the Rogue River, and she always invited us to her birthday parties. She was the friend that we all need in our lives, and I am so sad that I only just found out that she is gone. I know her spirit will live on in all of the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and joy. Rest in Peace, my friend.

JILL WAS A CUSTOMER EVERY WEEK TO OUR SAFEWAY GROCERY. SHE WOULD ARRIVE WITH HER FRIEND PATTY MULLER & BARRY (WAS A LOT OF FUN AND LAUGHTER WHEN THOSE THREE CAME IN TO SHOP.)..LAST TIME I RAN INTO JILL I WAS AT THE CITI BANK IN SAN RAFAEL A FEW YEARS AGO. SHE WAS STRUGGLING THAT DAY WITH A EYE HEALTH ISSUE. I WAS SAD TO SEE SHE WAS HAVING DISCOMFORT.
IT MUST HAVE BEEN SO DIFFICULT FOR HER THESE LAST FEW YEARS. I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS,()

My cousin Jill loved my mom, her Aunt Roberta (her dad's sister), and would call her frequently. When my mom died in November 2018, Jill started calling me and so we enjoyed a phone friendship the last years of her life. Once, while driving south to a family wedding, we stopped and picked up Jill and her mom, my Aunt Lois and enjoyed their company on that trip. Jill was a special soul full of joy and loved reading this obituary about her.

Oh, the stories I could tell you about Jill. All fun and very entertaining! I found her, her 1st job at Mervyns at Northgate many moons ago. She never missed a party and enjoyed telling short jokes. If you listened, she had quite a sense of humor.
She was a character! Rest in peace, Jill. You will not be forgotten!

I first met Jill in the late 1980s when I was her job coach. When I re-met Jill in 2010 through participation in People First of Marin, a self-advocacy group for people with developmental disabilities, she would always remind everyone that I had been her job coach. She had remembered me from 30 years before! Jill attended Bay Area events with People First, such as the Golden Gate Regional Center Self-Advocacy Conference. She was one of the most dedicated in attending the monthly meeting--a strong personality I will never forget. My condolences to her family and friends. Jami Davis, Executive Director Marin Ventures
