Scott, my condolences to you and your family. To say you will miss Jill doesn't even begin to tell the story. Loss of a spouse is awful. She was a fantastic person who will live on in all our memories.

Jill was a true friend who came into my life in 1992, when I recruited her from Aetna to her first actual "consulting job". She became one of the best people I have ever known. Her enthusiasm for life, love, work and play has inspired me over the years. She was one of the smartest people I have ever known in the industry and a most fabulous person. We laughed, cried, and got pissed off together; shared intimate details of our lives, and became besties who never actually met face-to-face. It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

Jill is one of my favorite people. I met her a couple years ago when we began working on the same team inside Ingenix. We spent many hours in long conversations candidly sharing our life's lessons and comparing notes. She was a wonderful friend. No matter what amount of time passed between our conversations, we picked up where we left off and had a great time "catching up." She loved her family more than anything else in her life, and many times we would discuss our work in relation to what we should really be worrying about at home and would laugh about how insignificant work issues seemed when we realized our life's legacy really was left in the memories we created with our families. She never tired of talking about her children. In fact, for a long time, I thought Paige and Patrick were super heros in disguise! How lucky you are that she was your mother and how lucky you are that she loved you more than life itself. She would rearrange her schedule whenever and however possible to participate in your life. What a mom! And how blessed we all were to have Jill in our lives. May God bless you and your family, and may you always remember Jill with laughter and love.
