Jill Sobule

Oh, no! My heart is breaking. I just found out about Jill's passing and I am so very crushed. I met Jill at the University of Seville, Spain when we were studying abroad our junior year of college. We shared a memorable life as she mesmerized audiences with her unique voice and guitar in Spanish cafes. Oh, my! We shared the same birthday and felt the world meant for our paths to cross. Heartfelt condolences to Jill's family and friends. Always with us, Jill! You are so very much missed and never forgotten. Always in my heart. Amen.

I owe you though I never knew you. And not for any obvious reason. A chance reading of your life and death on the Internet brought a realization about the things that are possible if you dig in and do the thing you were meant to do on earth. Funny how even after we leave, there may be an imprint left behind. Some scattered star dust gently sifting down.
