My deepest sympathies go out to Jim's family. It was a pleasure to have known Jim. He always had such wonderful things to say about his family. It was obvious he was proud of them and loved them dearly. His cheerful personality and big smile will be missed and never forgotten. My prayers go out to you Allison and Ashley!!

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Allison and Ashlie,

Though we haven't seen you all since Marguerite Christian School, your family always brought a smile to Carly and me. I am so sad to hear about the sudden loss of Jim. The few times we saw you, his love for the two of you was beautiful. Stay strong and trust in God.

We care,
Jacque and Carly Willardson

He was our son in-law, he was our Jimbo and we loved him.
Ten years ago on a beautiful beach in Hawaii Jim Garrison Abbott married our only daughter Allison. We cried with happiness to see a couple so in love. Today we cry with sadness at our loss. Jim was a family man with a big heart. He walked into our lives and things were never the same, he made us laugh,he made us smile, he made our lives better somehow and our family was complete. He was our son in-law, he was our Jimbo and we loved him.
He was everything we could have wished for for our daughter. A wonderful husband and a devoted father. A big handsome man with a wonderful smile we took him to out hearts. He lives on in our beautiful granddaughter Ashley Love and in her face and her laughter we see him still.
He was our son in-law, he was our Jimbo and we loved him.

Jim ..... I still can't believe you are gone.. I remember how sweet you would answer the phone when Allison would call and much love you had for your little girl... your office was a shrine of pictures and art that she made for you.. you always took the time to listen and you honestly cared, you helped me and family with a lot, you helped change a crabby and stubborn man to be the responsible and professional man he is now and for that I will forever be grateful. I loved that I could talk to you about UFC and Supercross... Thank you for being a friend….. I will forever remember you… RIP my friend

If I could come back for just one day,I know exactly what I would say to my family and friends and those who I love. Here is my message that I speak from above.

"I would say it's okay to be sad for awhile, but what I really want most is to see your smile. And for you to go on and live once again, allowing others to comfort your pain.I know that you loved me with all of your heart, and that none of you wanted for me to depart. I don't quite understand it myself, but I know that you will get by with a little help. Yes, I would say to be sad for a day and to do what you need to do and then lift up your eyes to the wonder of the sky, and know that I loved you too."

I read this a few times a day and it helps. Jimbo was the best husband and father. We will miss you.
