On behalf of Pi Lambda Phi, please accept our sincere condolences on Jim´s passing. Hopefully, everyone who loves him was able to be together to celebrate his life and share fond memories of him.
I've updated our records so that we will remember Jim again when our fraternity convenes for our annual gathering this week in what we call our "Chapter Eternal Remembrance Ceremony." The names of brothers who have passed are read, candles are lit in their memory, somber fraternal prayers are recited, and beautiful songs are sung. It's our way of noting that although they are no longer with us in body, they are remembered.
Brother Mine Forever,
Kris Reiber

P.S. The included Coat of Arms with the middle band blacked out honors Jim´s transition to the Chapter Eternal.

Jim Abraham's is a remarkable man, made many people laugh and enjoy his slapstick comedy. My first encounter was the apartment on Malibu Beach, my Friend Michael Douglas, from St. Louis, would have gatherings and neighbors would show up and Jim included. He told me the best place to write movies was on his roof top with the ocean as his audience. Shortly there after Michael introduced Jim to Nancy and the rest was history that began in the 1970s. So happy their love persevered all of these years. My deepest condolences to Nancy and Family. Jane Williams

I was Jim's Frat Brother at the U of Wisconsin and fortunately, or unfortunately I was his Pledge Trainer. Jim was back then, and as it turned out, continued to be off the wall, unpredictable and above all else, just plain fun to be around. Never saw him again after I graduated but saw most of Jim's movies and I could hear him.
