Jim Fugleberg, 47, Greenbush, MN, died on Thursday, at his home. James Henry Fugleberg was born December 30, 1958 in Greenbush to parents Vernon and Joan (Johnson) Fugleberg. He grew up in Greenbush. He was active in wrestling, football and golf. In Boy Scouts, he attained their highest rank, Eagle Scout. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church where he was baptized and confirmed. Jim graduated from Greenbush High School in 1977. He graduated from the U of M, Crookston in 1979 majoring in Ag-business. His hobbies include hunting and outdoor recreation. Jim married Petronella ""Patty' Kuznia on February 13, 1982 in Assumption Catholic Church at Florian, MN. He began working at Roseau Co. Co-op Assn. in Greenbush, Badger and Wannaska in 1979 and served as its manager from 1986 to 2003. Currently he was a Chemical Rep for U.A.P. at Hallock, MN. Jim has been a member of the Greenbush Fire Dept. for 25 years and currently was serving as their Secretary. Survived by wife - Petronella ""Patty' 1 son - Derek (Jessica Escobar of Fargo, ND) of Rensselaer, Indiana; 2 daughters - Magen (Darin Schirmers of Willmar, MN) Fugleberg of Willmar, MN and Whitney Fugleberg of Greenbush. His mother - Joan Fugleberg of Greenbush. 1 sister - Sandy (John) Stauffenecker of Greenbush. 1 sister-in-law - Debbie Osborne of Thief River Falls, MN. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Vernon in 1988 and his brother Glen in 1986. Funeral Services: Monday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. in Bethel Lutheran Church of Greenbush. Visitation: Sunday after 6 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Prayer Service in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Greenbush and one hour before services in Bethel Lutheran Church on Monday.
