Dear Martha, Philip & Jane,
I can only imagine the loss you all must feel. I worked with Jim and only until recently have had the opportunity to come to know him better. His sense of humor and geniune smile will be the memories that will stay with me, and missed greatly. Jim was such a compassionate and genuinely nice person. He really made a difference here - not only his contribution on the job, but with his example on what we're really all on this earth to be.
My sincere sympathies to your loss. Keep those who bring you comfort around you and smile on his memories brightly.

Dear Martha, Phillp, and Jane
I worked with Jim, in a different area, but I often looked to him to answer questions and lend his expertise. Often when people do not work in the same area they do not always cooperate. This was never the case with Jim. He was always open to discussion and always friendly. I mean there was never a time that he was not a truly nice guy. He was easy and fun to talk to, and that is why I had discussions with him about work, family, and motorcycles.
He was my suit buddy, the 2 of us wore business suits every Wednesday and I will miss his jokes about why we did.
His laugh and sense of humor were one of his best features, it was contagious, and it will be missed.
Phillip and Jane you can be proud of your father, he was a really a good guy that everyone respected and admired.
As a believer we know that he is at the Lord's side.
You are all in my prayers.

Martha,
I worked with Jim at AC Nielsen. I last spoke to Jim a few years ago. We are all saddened by his passing and our prayers go out to you and your family. Jim was always one of the "good" guys who I had the pleasure of working with.

Martha, Tony and I met Jim when we worked at AC Nielsen with him. We wanted to let you know that you are in our prayers. We were so sorry to hear of Jim's passing and started remembering all the fun times we had had with both you and Jim. One thing's for sure, Jim lived every day! He had the ability to bring a smile to any situation. I can still hear him saying, "It doesn't pay to point fingers" when a problem would be discovered, and everyone would lose their serious scowls and start laughing. He will be fondly remembered and missed by many. God Bless.

Martha,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. May the knowledge of how Jim lived his life be a comfort to you. It is obvious that he valued compassion, and gave of himself for the good of others. Keep your family and friends close by during this difficult time, allow their love and support to surround all of you.

Martha,
Jim was a business associate of mine when he worked at ERIM (Nielsen). I always respected Jim and admired his positive outlook. There are no words that can truly remove the grief I'm sure you and your family are experiencing. May the Lord console you and yours.

Martha I offer you my most heartfelt sympathies. While I only met you and the family once or twice, Jim and I first met years ago when he was a consultant for ERIM. Regardless of where he or I worked we seemed to see each other ... at the Marathon, at the store or restaurant or bar. Over the years and many life changes he always had a quip, a smile and view that made me laugh. Many will miss him, as will I.

Although I've never met Jim's family, but you are all in my prayers. Jim was my cousin, his Dad and mine were brothers. The last time I saw Jim was about 8 years ago at my Mothers funeral, it was the first time I had seen him, since we were teenagers growing up. The Goski family has had a hard time the last few years and my thoughts and prayers are with all of them at this most sad time. God Bless you all.

Although I have never met Martha and Jane personally, I had the pleasure of having Phil in class last year. From the time I met your dad, Phil, it was obvious to me that he and I would really hit it off. He shared the passion for SIU that I have and I will miss being able to talk to him about our beloved school! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!
