Jim was an outspoken advocate for our statehood and our founding fathers. Jim stood in the gap when nobody else would and made his presence known among the younger persons that looked to his wisdom and counsel. Jim will be thought of often and it is a pleasure to know his devotion to Vance Air Force Base and his legacy will live forward.

Jim was a client and a friend as he was developing condominiums on South Padre Island at the time. We often went fishing and his good nature and sense of humor will be missed.

Jim was an outstanding leader for Oklahoma. He helped Oklahoma County in it's acquisition of the old General Motors Automobile Factory and it's ultimate donation of same to Tinker Air Force Base. That one project helped insure Tinker's future for decades to come and the continued growth and significance of Oklahoma County as a leader in manufacturing. God bless the Inhofe family and thank you all for what your family has meant to the State of Oklahoma.
