Dear Kris,

We were extremely shocked and deeply saddened to read about Jim's passing. Just the other day, we were remembering the Memorial Day that the 4 of us boated in to our home at Bucks Lake through the ice and several feet of snow only to be greeted with breaking pipes. In spite of everything, we had a wonderful and memorable weekend---full of laughs. Jim was one of the kindest and big hearted guy we had the pleasure of knowing. We always loved the times we spent together at your home in Washoe Valley or our home in Reno. You and Jim were just such a special couple. May God comfort you and Austin. You are both in our thoughts and prayers.
