Jim Monigold

I was a friend of Jim's since elementary school. We grew up out in the Alisal area of Salinas Calif. Jim used to help me understand vocal harmony. He was a great singer and musician and I will miss him always. Rest old friend till we get to sing on a much bigger stage. Carter Powell

Jimmy was the best brother-in-love that any girl could ask for. He had the biggest heart. Heaven gained an angel. We love and miss you so much, but we'll see you again someday.

My most sincere sympathy to the Monigold Family. I haven't seen Jimmy for a long time but remember him well from our teen years in Alisal. Besides his musical talent he was an all around great guy. My prayers are with you.

I want to let Aunt Katheryn know how sorry I am to hear about Jim. Joyce and I used to babysit him and his brothers when we were in our teens. I am sure they don;t remember me but Katheryn does I used to call her aunt because Joyce always did. I was looking forward to seeing the boy's band play on Saturday at my 50th high school reunion. My prayer go out to you Aunt Katheryn and Jim's wife and family.

We are so sorry for the loss of a great man. We had the pleasure of knowing Jim while he lived in Salinas. 29 years ago he played at our wedding. We have always treasured him and will always hold him in our hearts. RIP Jim.You truely will be missed.

My heart goes out to Debbie, Katherine, and especially to my sweet neice Jamie, who lost her dad. Jimmy was the kind of guy you couldn't help but like! He was such a warm, loving person ... always and forever my brother-in-law in my heart no matter where his life took him. May you all find peace in your hearts knowing that he is resting in heaven with the best of us!
