Jim Reno, 78, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on January 14, 2015 at his home. Born in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late James John and Mary Susan Davy Reno. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was an avid NASCAR fan with Dale Jarrett being his favorite driver. He was also an avid reader, fisherman and boater and enjoyed spending time on his boat in the Chesapeake Bay. He worked in maintenance at Town Plaza Apartments for over eight years and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Reno is survived by his wife of 50 years, Miriam Lee Brown Reno; sons, Joseph Alan Reno of Bel Air, daughter Karen Reno Rice of Bel Air; Timothy W. Reno of Littlestown, PA and Jeffrey W. Reno of Bel Air; sisters, Elva Baer of DE, Mary Barnard of Edgewood and Dorothy Whetzel of Keyser, WV; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, John P. Reno Sr. Pallbearers were his sons and grandsons Joseph Reno, Timothy Reno, Jeffrey Reno, John Reno, Christopher Reno, Timmy Reno and Eddie Maloney. Those who desire may send flowers to the funeral home for the services or you may make a donation to the American Stroke Foundation, 5916 Dearbon Street, Mission, KS 66202.
