The tide recedes but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand;
The sun goes down but gentle warmth
still lingers on the land;
The music stops and yet it echoes
on in sweet refrains;
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.

Rest in peace Vicki

Lily misses you too!

Vicki, all of your friends from the 1175th TTU Reserve unit @ P'town know you are in God's hands and rightfully so. You did so many little things for all of us. You had a heart that was bigger than most people we know or previously knew. Your sense of humor was really infectious. You will always be remembered as our unofficial "Colonel".
Vicki's passing was truely a time when we really mean "Ah, No!" upon hearing of her dying.

To Vicki's Family,
I never knew any of you personally , but my brother Steve and Vicki went to PMHS together, Class of 64. We lost Steve to liver cancer this past January and I learned from my Mother yesterday, when I told her of Vicki's passing, that she and Steve talked on several occasions prior to his death. I'm sure each was grateful to the other as they shared discussing this common bond. My thoughts and prayers go to each of you during this very difficult time.

Marianne and Family,

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family during this difficult time.

We have many good memories of your Mom, we still talk about the day Bill brought our daughter to the PX at age 7 and Mom had her stocking shelves. :)(She is now 35)

Bill was in in 851 Trans Company and met your mom back in 1982.

Your Mom was a wonderful person. She was always smiling and she always saw the good in people. She will be missed.

Tons of hugs to you and your family. Jean & Bill Mangold and Missy too!

We shared a name although 'the corn fields, highways, junk yards and clothes lines came between us.'

Vicki was a very good and kind person. I am very fortunate for having seen Vicki at my sister's wedding in 2006, and shared some thoughts since then.

When someone leaves us like this, I'm reminded of a letter written by Joseph Kennedy, Sr.:

'When one of your loved ones goes out of your life, you think of what he might have done with a few more years, and you wonder what you are going to do with the rest of yours. Then one day, because there is a world to be lived in, you find yourself a part of it again, trying to accomplish something - something that he did not have time enough to do. And, perhaps, that is the reason for it all. I hope so.'

I'll see you on the other side, Vicki.

Our prayers are with you.
I remember her at the PX at the army reserve center in Pedricktown always
smileing and happy.And always thinking
about her boys in the 851st Trans Co.
Rest in peace Vicki.

Lots of HUGS and prayers to all of the family. Words sometimes cannot convey the heartache but a hug is comforting.
Vicki will always be special to me. She is happy being with her mom and sister I am sure; she is at peace. Vicki is also my son's God Mother so I know she will keep him strait in heaven.

Another beautiful soul has left this earth. I have many good memories of our younger days together. She never judged people and was always happy and kind to everyone. May she now find peace with the angels.
