Jimmy was a very special matey.
He had come to be much loved in Church near Accrington where he renovated and ran the Queen's Hotel.
His intention when he bought the building was to use it to house his library (he had just about completed this task), and for political meetings. He was not prepared for the support and love he got to just run it as a pub.
We were about to start reading groups there - to help any local people round about who wanted help to get more confidence with reading and literacy.
I miss him in so many ways.
