I'm sorry that I didn't get to go to the Memorial Services today for Jimmy; I really loved that man. He always wanted to make sure that everyone was having a good time and if you weren't, you soon would be after he started telling jokes. I'm not sure I ever saw him without a smile on his face. He was the same age as my sister, Connie, who also passed away in August. When their class had their 50th Buda High School Reunion, I'm pretty sure that it was Jimmie who rented a limousine for all of their classmates to arrive in at the old high school. I had saved a message that Jimmie left for me, several years ago, saying he would be at the Buda High Reunion. I just loved hearing his voice because he was such a jovial man; you could just hear how excited he was to be coming. Unfortunately, it was erased by mistake. RIP Jimmy, you left the world a better place.

Jim was a good friend and a mentor to me in my early career in the laundry chemical business. Jim always told me that if I brought him one new account he would bring me two. Jim was always a pleasure to be around and never met a stranger. I just found out about his passing late this afternoon and I regret that I will not be able to attend his memorial. The last time I saw Jim we agreed to have lunch and unfortunately we never got to share that lunch. He was a legend and will be missed greatly.

I was friends with both Jim & Dot for so many years. Always loved talking to Jimmy, he had a good story to tell and a big laugh. Sandra Grizzle, Buda

Jim was a friend to everyone he met. My daughter Sarah and I moved into his mother and father's home in 1987. I have always considered it an honor to know Jim and Dot and live in his parent's home.
Jim had a smile for everyone and a good joke.
I know he is happy to be with his Dot again.
May God bless you both!
