Jimmy Stanger III

Memorial services for Jimmy Stanger III will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Serenity Springs, 3865 Farm-to-Market Road 858, Ben Wheeler, 75754, with the Rev. Jerry Stanger, (uncle) officiating.

Jimmy Wayne Stanger III was born March 20, 1991, in Tyler and passed away at the age of 24 on July 18, 2015. He had been a resident of Ben Wheeler all of his life and worked for Center Point Energy of Tyler. He graduated from Van High School in 2010, and loved the outdoors, and riding four-wheelers. His favorite thing to do was ride on the tractor with his son, throw the football with his nephew and hang out with his buddies.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jimmy W. Stanger Sr. and Tom Lott.

Survivors include his son, Braiden Wayne Stanger, and Braiden's mom, Chelsey Minchew, of Ben Wheeler; parents, Jimmy Stanger Jr. and Trish, of Ben Wheeler, and Rachelle and Bart Thorton, of Bullard; sisters, Amber Stanger, Christian Herrera, Brandy Barnett, Deanna Adams; stepbrother, Joseph Thornton and wife Elizabeth; grandmothers, Sharon "Nanny" Stanger and Judy "Maw Maw" Lott; aunts and uncles, Pat Stanger Beall and life-partner, Diana Williams, Teresa Stanger, Suzan White, Jason Lott, Michelle Lott Wright, Donna Nixon; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members, and his wo rk family at Center Point Energy in Tyler.
