I liked Jo from the moment I met her. We enjoyed art classes together at the JCC. She was bright, fun and full of life. Any time I saw her, that is how I felt. I remember she came to an art exhibit of mine at the Bing Theater. Her interest in life, people and the arts inspired me to know her better. I am truly sorry for your loss. Surely Jo Anne's memory will shine thru as blessing for all who knew and loved her. Sincerely, Cindy Lutz Kornet

My heart goes out to you Dara, Jonas, Andrew and family!
She was so special and very proud of her children as she would speak of their adventures with my parents!
My mother sent her thoughts and prayers before.
I think that she was received with loving welcome by Art and my mom Jean and dad Ray up there. As she is resting easy, she´s also shining her love brightly in all that she loved on this mortal plane. In the flowers and the stars, through you and around you. Keep looking, her signs of love are around in the stories that you tell and mannerisms that you share.
Deepest condolences,
Love and blessings to everyone!

Our friendship clicked at Penn over 65 years ago. Distance and time never lessened it. Good friends have warm places in each other´s hearts. Jo will always live in mine.

Jo Anne entered my professional life at Agawam High School where she served as teacher/counselor. She developed a highly successful culinary program for disabled children and had special talent in addressing the needs of at-risk youth. We loved working together, brainstorming, seeking options for all kids. When I moved, on we remained friends and enjoyed many get-togethers with Jo Anne and Art.
She was a vibrant, lovely lady and I miss her greatly. We extend our condolences to her family.

Some of my best childhood memories are with Jo Anne and Art alongside my grandparents, Marlene and Jerry, usually out on an adventure or hanging out in the yard of my grandparent´s Longmeadow home. Jo Anne was so kind and always had the warmest way about her. As a kid I always felt excited to see her to run up and say hello... She somehow always felt like a close friend. I´ll forever picture her driving around town in her convertible. Sending my love and condolences to the entire family.
