JO ELLEN
Retired Educator for the Pittsburgh Public Schools and Hill District resident passed away peacefully on October 19, 2015, at the age of 68. Beloved daughter of Aliene Ely and the late William Ely; sister of Sandra Ely Saunders (William), and William Ely, Jr.; also survived by one aunt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015, from 2-6 p.m. in the SAMUEL J. JONES FUNERAL HOME, 2644 Wylie Ave., Pgh., PA 15219. Homegoing Service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Shiloh Community Missionary Baptist Church, 6940 Frankstown Ave., Pgh., PA 15208. Interment Allegheny Cemetery.

God Bless You, Jo Ellen. As one of the most beautiful people I've known in my life you will be sorely missed. My very deepest condolences to all of the Ely Family (Mrs. Aliene, Sandra, and Billy). Jo Ellen was one "awesome" person and I was very proud to have spent time in her circle of friends and class mates. You (Jo Ellen) are in God's embrace, now. May God Rest and keep you in his embrace for all eternity. You were absolutely wonderful.
