Wonderful tribute to your mum. She was a classy, fun, and great lady. I will remember the gardens, how to open a lobster properly, her cooking for us, and her warm welcoming ways. Lots of hugs and strength

Joan will be sadly missed, she was the most loving creative lady who has shown us her talent in gardening, and cooking. She was my neighbor, who always came out to chat and show me her beautiful garden! Her flowers will continue to bloom as she would have wanted!God bless her and her Family.

Joan opened her home and heart to me and my colleagues when we were in Listuguj visiting Victoria and Ken. I will always remember seeing all the wonderful things she created with her hands and enjoying the delicious Indian/Irish stew (her words), bread and desert she served up with her smile and warm generosity. God bless you and your family Victoria during this very difficult time. Peggy Berndt (Stony Plain, Alberta)
