I remember Joan and her beau (Daniel) from when I was a little girl. She hung around with some of my sisters, Shirley and Angela. She and Daniel would go for strolls along John Brackette Drive. I also remember her in church when I used to go with my mother Catherine Dempsey. I praise her for the large family she raised and may she rest in peace in the love of God. I cannot express how sorry I am to hear of your loss! My heart goes out to everyone of you. I remember how welcoming Joan was to me when I would come visit Lori during our teenage years. Another teenager under foot, but she didn't seem to bat an eye and always made me feel at home.
