My Dear Joann
Our time together was too short but we are so grateful for the time we had. We kept meaning to get together and discuss your Basque history and your Uncle Herman, Max's father. So goes the saying "never put off until tomorrow what you can do today" Max so often talks about you two horseback riding as kids.
Our deepest sympathy to your wonderful family. I know they will miss you so very much. I know too that they have so many wonderful memories to sustain them.
