My Deepest sympathy to Jess & Kristen for the loss of their mom. We were neighbors and had more contact when our children were in school I always enjoyed chatting with Joan & Jack. They were so friendly and caring. My prayers are with the family. May you find some peace & comfort knowing they are with God and. he will be with you & support you with His love at this most difficult time

A great loss to all, her family, Country Meadows, her community of co-workers and all of those residents. Joan, dear friend, confidante and counselor to our family over the years. We loved and respected Joan and called her our "guru" which always gave her a chuckle. Dealing with first both parents and now an aunt living at Country Meadows, we relied heavily on Joan for counsel and moral support on many occasions. I can still hear her and Jack singing at Chapel. Now, together again. Goodbye, dear friend and wonderful, indispensable, part of Country Meadows. We will never forget you. We thank you. Judy and Margie

I am so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. She truly was a woman whose heart was full of compassion and love for her Lord, her family and those entrusted to her care, as well being an example to those who worked with her. Please know of my prayers that the comfort that comes from the Holy Spirit fills you with His peace and grace.

My dearest friend is now in the presence of the Lord and is hearing Him say Well done my good and faithful servant I will miss her deeply but know she is free of the pain and suffering she endured. Her daughters are a witness to how wonderful Jack and Joan were as their parents. They exemplify the loving kindness and compassion that their parents extended to all who knew them and called them friend...

In the short time that both my Mom ( Ruth Marthaler a resident of Country Meadows ) and myself , first met Joan, we instantly found her to be a very special lady . Thanks to her spiritual and wonderful caring qualities she quickly became a inspiration in helping my Mom with the transition to her new home at the Meadows . She will always be in our heart .

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Your Mom was awesome and she really encouraged me at my lowest point during our transition from Pittsburgh to Greenville. Dear friends from my early married days, you will be missed. Thank you Joan for the poignant memory I have of you offering to take me upstairs to see the nursery for your first baby. It was a rare moment of being treated like a normal person during my years of struggling to start a family. Few people are gifted as you were to relate to others.

Heartfelt sympathy to you and the family Jess.May you feel God's presence and comfort in your darkest hours and may you feel His love as you cuddle the precious baby boy He has placed in your arms.You are covered in prayer by all those who love you.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one, Virginia. May 1 Thessalonians 4:14 bring you some comfort in knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death. They are very precious in Gods eyes. May the God of all comfort strengthen your family during this time of deep sorrow.

Joan and Jack are so special to me! I remember many times I went over to their home when I was in high school to spend time with Jess. Such faithful loving parents and so kind to me. Their faith was such a testimony..so greatly missed. I am praying for your family, Jess!

With peace you leave us. In the open arms of angels you rest, and in the memories of all the people you touched you will live, loved as you had loved.
