JOAN MARIE HARANTS

HARANTS JOAN MARIE HARANTS, age 77, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6, 2013. She was born on November 16, 1935 to Kenneth and Ann (nee Simcik) Schneider in Elyria. Joan was the membership chairman for the Ohio Valley Region of Lincoln Continental Owners Club. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joan will be missed by her beloved husband of 55 years Edward; loving sons, Ed (Sabrina) and Jeff; cherished grandchildren, Stephanie and Devin; treasured great-grandchild, Aubrie; loving brother, Kenneth Schneider; and sister, Lois Barnard. She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Patricia Attenson and Harry Schneider. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, (929 Pearl Road, Brunswick 44212) with AN HOUR PRIOR OF VISITATION AT THE CHURCH.
