Joan Karen Maze

My mom used to clean for Joan she was amazing person she even gave me her books and wrote in them I´m so sorry for your family loss she was such a sweet lady.

My deepest condolences to Joan's family. She was a DARTS volunteer by the time I began working there myself. She regaled me with many stories of her time working in Transportation and Dispatch. I read a couple of her books; in fact I just found one, "A Dangerous Mistake" in the office just this past Friday. Interesting how "she had no time for modern pop". She sat next to me assisting in answering the phones, and never commented on the radio station (KS95) I listened to. My favorite memory with her was a quiet afternoon in the office and a fun up-beat song came on the radio (I don't remember which one). I turned up the volume; Joan, a couple other staff, and I stood in the front of the office and danced to it.
